Custom Folder

Creating a folder with a custom name or several folders with custom names is a breeze thanks to the functionality the Custom Folder tool provides. This application puts a new entry in the right click context menu, which is entitled “Create custom name folder.” Click this entry and you will be presented with a menu that lets you pick a mask to name a folder or a batch of folders you want to create.

You can install Custom Folder on a PC powered by any Windows edition from Windows 2000 up to Windows 7. The application’s installation file is only 2.1MB in size, so downloading it won’t take much of your time. Run said file and a setup wizard will show up and guide you through the installation process.

Once Custom Folder is installed on your PC, you will see a new entry in the right click context menu. Entitled “Create custom name folder”, this entry gives you access to a menu that lets you choose the mask for naming your folder, lets you access the Settings menu (from which you can create, edit and delete masks; and you can also choose what happens when you click the “Create custom name folder” button), and lets you batch create folders.

You get to create all the masks you want. Then you can use these masks to name a new folder or a batch of new folders. That pretty much sums up the part where I present the functionality you can expect to get from this application. It must be added here that you can enjoy this functionality for free for as long as you want. Or to put it in other words, Custom Folder is freeware.
